Bailey seeks attention and adventure elsewhere
Scenario
Bailey lives with her brother Hunter and her father Bug, who raises them alone in a penthouse in north Kent. Bug doesn’t have much time for them.
Edited by Fontaines DC: Bug (2024)
Barry Keoghan left Gladiator II (2024) to star in this film. It’s a great coming-of-age story, reminiscent of “Wild Diamond”, but in my opinion done even better.
Nature, animals and especially birds symbolize freedom and ease, which is very expressive
We follow the life of a 12-year-old girl named Bailey, who lives in the slums of Britain. It’s clear from the very beginning that Bailey sees the world differently than those around her.
Bailey faces many challenges, and Bird subtly guides her toward a solution
Bailey meets Bird, a character who embodies the person she aspires to become. She initially mocks Bird, but in the end her mockery turns into admiration.
Some questions remain unanswered, but for me, specific answers aren’t important
The journey and growth that Bailey experiences is what really matters.
