In Karate Kid: Legends, after a family tragedy, kung fu prodigy Li Fong (Ben Wang) is forced to leave his home in Beijing and move to New York with his mother. Li tries to shake off his past as he tries to fit in with his new classmates, and although he doesn’t want to fight, it seems that trouble can find him everywhere. When a new friend needs his help, Li takes part in a karate competition, but his skills alone are not enough. Li’s kung fu teacher, Mr. Han (Jackie Chan), enlists the help of original karate kid Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio), and Li learns a new way of fighting, combining both styles into one to create the perfect martial arts match.
