He’s smart. He’s adorable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During Season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His son David Zayas Jr. replaces his father in some shots, as the two look remarkably similar. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in the second season, the scar has moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked. Dexter is easily one of my all-time favorite TV shows and one of the few shows I can watch from start to finish multiple times without getting bored. It’s hard for me to put into words how much I love this show. The only thing that’s not great is the ending. The ending was pretty bad, but that doesn’t take away from how great the show is overall. You should watch this show just for Michael C. Hall’s performance as Dexter. He’s amazing in this. If you haven’t watched this amazing show yet, make sure you give yourself enough time because you’ll want to watch it in one go as fast as you can. Once you start watching, you won’t be able to stop.
